Founders Susan and Brad decided to make their own cosmetics because there were no cosmetics around that they could use safely for their children. Since there was no organic certification agency for cosmetics, the two decided to make cosmetics that met food-level guidelines.

The world's first non-GMO cosmetics

EO was the first brand to obtain NON-GMO certification for cosmetics in June 2011. NON-GMO certification is a mark that promises that "genetically modified plants are not used." There is a growing trend in the organic and natural market to place importance on NON-GMO not only in food but also in cosmetics, and EO is a pioneer in this trend.

Sustainable Manufacturing

What if we continued to take these wonderful ingredients without thinking about them? The ingredients would wither. EO has created an environment where we can provide a stable supply of products without putting a burden on the earth by controlling the flow of ingredients from "cultivation → harvesting → processing". Environmentally friendly cosmetics

We want to be clean not only for the people who use it, but also for the global environment. With that in mind, EO is working on various environmental issues. 25% to 100% of the bottles are made from recycled plastic (not containing the harmful substance BPA). Packages shipped from the factory use recyclable packaging materials, and the factory's electricity is powered by recycled energy.

A sister brand born from EO

Every One is a sister brand of EO. It is made in the same factory as EO. It was launched in 2012 with the desire to give organic products to the younger generation. We adjusted the quality, size, and price to aim for products that are lower cost than EO and easier for young people to get their hands on.

Origin story

In 2012, Susan and Brad realized that there were no natural, affordable body care products available to their sons. This was the inspiration for the birth of everyone. The prices of previous body care lines were a bit too expensive for families to continue using. One way to keep the price down was to have more people use more soap.

A revolutionary idea that brings it all together

What they came up with was a large-capacity soap that the whole family could use. It had to be a product that could be used by people of all ages, from 2-month-old babies to 92-year-olds. It also had to be a single bottle that could be used for all purposes, rather than being divided into separate bottles for different purposes, such as face wash, shampoo, body wash, bubble bath, and shaving gel. This revolutionary idea succeeded in increasing usage while reducing bottle consumption and cutting costs.
