Organic Tulsi Tea

A blend of equal parts Rama Tulsi, Vana Tulsi and Krishna Tulsi. Also known as Holy Basil or Tulasi, this plant means "matchless" in Sanskrit and is revered as a sacred plant in Hinduism. In the traditional Indian medicine Ayurveda, it is considered an elixir of immortality and is used to treat a variety of illnesses. The main reason why Tulsi is highly valued medically and religiously is its strong antioxidant properties. Tulsi is rich in antioxidants and nutrients, and has been shown to have anti-stress, inflammation relief, plasma cholesterol control, toxin removal, stomach ulcer prevention, fever reduction, and digestive properties. It has also been shown to help the heart function, regulate veins, liver, lungs and blood, and control blood pressure and blood sugar levels.
