Calming Recipes
- Lavender Bath : Add 2 to 4 teaspoons of lavender hydrosol to a warm bath.
- Chamomile Cream : Mix 1/4 cup coconut oil, 2 tablespoons beeswax, and 2 tablespoons chamomile hydrosol. Melt the beeswax and coconut oil, then add the hydrosol. Cool and let harden.
Note: Hydrosols are generally safe for children, but it's always a good idea to consult with a medical professional before introducing any new treatment, especially if your child has any underlying medical conditions.

Hydrosol Safety

There are few safety concerns with hydrosols, but peppermint (Mentha x Piperita) hydrosol is warned not to be used by young children (under 3 years of age) because it may cause respiratory distress, and Greenland moss (Ledum groenlandicum) should not be used by children under 6 years of age (Catty, 2001).
